Chapter 61 – Do You Like Being Teased?

“Have you recovered all your memories from before?”

Ling Mo quickly seized the opportunity to change the subject and asked.

“No, it just feels like there’s a lot more stuff in my head.” A hint of confusion appeared in Xia Na’s eyes again. “A lot, but it’s all kind of blurry.”

It’s no wonder. Although these memories should have surfaced over the past three days, such a massive influx of information couldn’t be processed so quickly.

Xia Na is probably even more confused now than before. Every time she evolves, some of the memories sealed away due to the Virus are released. “You don’t seem very happy,” Xia Na said, staring intently into Ling Mo’s eyes. Suddenly, she leaned forward, her cold lips lightly brushing against Ling Mo’s mouth. “Does this make you happy? You seem to like this.”

Xia Na’s kiss left Ling Mo momentarily stunned, but he quickly snapped out of his turmoil.

Indeed, Xia Na and Ye Lian might never return to being normal humans, but so what?

Ling Mo couldn’t help but curse himself inwardly. He had never considered that if Ye Lian and Xia Na really regained normal human thinking, how would they view themselves, now as Zombies?

For them, the best outcome is to be like Xia Na…

Thinking of this, Ling Mo laughed heartily and pulled Xia Na into a hug. He suddenly asked, “So tell me, do you like being teased?”

This was truly a groundbreaking question. Not many men would directly ask a girl something like this, let alone ask a Zombie girl.

The only one who could have such an opportunity, and the courage to ask this question, was probably Ling Mo.

In fact, Ling Mo blurted out the question himself… But after asking, he eagerly looked at Xia Na.

Her eyes were gradually returning to their normal color, but the terrifying aura she exuded made one feel as if they were facing a wild beast. Compared to that Advanced Zombie, the difference was hardly noticeable.

Having consumed nearly two-thirds of the Virus Gel, the boost Ye Lian received was clearly formidable. Ling Mo had a subtle feeling that she was on the verge of advancing; she would only need one more enhancement to become an Advanced Zombie.

However, after controlling Ye Lian to move her body a bit, Ling Mo noticed a difference between her and the Advanced Zombie.

That Advanced Zombie, although extremely fast, had a clear advantage in strength.

Ye Lian, on the other hand, lacked the same level of strength but showed a more pronounced improvement in speed. In short bursts, her speed could easily rival that of a cheetah.

It seems that different Zombies evolve in different directions.

When she looked at Ling Mo, the ferocity and indifference in her eyes vanished in an instant. But even in that brief moment, Ling Mo deeply realized that this once delicate and adorable girl had transformed into a powerful Zombie.
