Chapter 87 – Are You on Your Period?

In an instant, the Taekwondo Gym fell completely silent. Amid the deathly stillness, only the bodies scattered across the floor remained.

Ling Mo controlled Xu Cai to grip the sharpening stick lodged in his abdomen, then slowly pulled it out.

“When… when would I be on my period!” Lin Luanqiu stammered, her face turning bright red, and after a long pause, she gritted her teeth and said.

“Pfft!” Ling Mo coughed awkwardly, then asked, “So… are you really injured then?”

Lin Luanqiu was silent for a few seconds before slowly rolling up her left sleeve.

Her delicate arm was wrapped with a strip of cloth from an unknown source, soaked with blood to the point that it had turned a dark red, making it impossible to discern its original color. The reason the smell of blood was faint was because her arm also emitted a slight scent of alcohol.

Ling Mo immediately understood that she had been using the bar’s liquor to disinfect the wound. But the cut was so deep that self-healing was out of the question. Besides, liquor isn’t real alcohol, so its disinfecting effect was uncertain.

For a girl to endure such pain and still act like nothing was wrong along the way, it required immense willpower and endurance.

“No wonder you wanted to go to the School Hospital with me. You wouldn’t last much longer like this. Didn’t you tell Shi Bin about this before?” Ling Mo asked, puzzled.

Lin Luanqiu shook her head and said, “Telling him wouldn’t have made a difference. But now I kind of regret it. If I had told him the truth, maybe he wouldn’t have acted this way. He used to be much better than he is now. It’s this damned disaster that changed so many people.”

Ling Mo looked at her deeply, then took a bottle of hydrogen peroxide from his backpack and said, “Don’t blame yourself. Let me disinfect your wound first.”

“This… it’s so valuable…” Lin Luanqiu hesitated.

“Don’t worry. When we get to the School Hospital, we can restock.”

Ling Mo smiled, then controlled Ye Lian to hold Lin Luanqiu’s wrist while Xia Na carefully unwrapped the cloth strips.

Even though he was mentally prepared, Ling Mo couldn’t help but frown at the sight of such a deep wound.

After disinfecting with hydrogen peroxide, Ling Mo applied a hemostatic agent and finally wrapped it with a clean bandage, completing a rudimentary treatment.

Seeing Ling Mo pull out so many supplies like a magician, Lin Luanqiu looked at him with disbelief in her eyes. “You guys are amazing. Finding a pharmacy in the city isn’t hard, but getting these supplies out alive is another story. Most pharmacies are in crowded areas.”
