While Wen Yu was engaged in his own battle, Monkey was fulfilling his final mission.

It was a suicide mission. Jiang Wentao, who gave the order, knew it; Wen Yu, who overheard it, knew it; even Chu Ziling knew it!

Monkey, naturally, understood it as well.

The explosion roared.

Massive horns pierced directly through Monkey's abdomen. With a savage roar, the Bull Demon hoisted Monkey high into the air!

Blood gushed along the Bull Demon's horns, instantly staining the monster's face.

The Bull Demon licked the continuous flow of blood with its purplish tongue, becoming agitated with excitement!

Fresh, delicious blood-it had been a long time since the Bull Demon had tasted anything like it!

The excited Bull Demon let out a violent howl. Then, it strained its neck, intending to fling Monkey away and widen the wound in his abdomen in the process.

However, it failed!

The Bull Demon looked up in confusion at the tiny human hanging from its head, only to see the dark muzzle of a gun!

Monkey used every ounce of strength in his left hand to secure his body, ignoring the massive trauma to his midsection!

Anyway, with a wound like this and no Healing Potion, I'm already beyond saving, aren't I?

That was Monkey's thought.

Then, he pressed his Hand Cannon directly against the Bull Demon's bowl-sized eye…

Six consecutive gunshots!

These were the last bullets in Monkey's gun.

The power of a modified gun was absolutely not to be underestimated.

The first bullet instantly blew the Bull Demon's eye apart!

The Bull Demon let out a frenzied roar. It reached up with its right hand, grabbing Monkey's legs and tearing at them with savage force!

The third shot hit the Bull Demon right in the eye.

Then, it fell flat on its back!

The Bull Demon's brains had been turned into a pulpy mess by the several bullets. Furthermore, a Bull Demon did not possess the terrifying vitality of an Ancient Demon!

"Cough, cough…"

Still hanging onto the Bull Demon's head, Monkey coughed violently, spraying strings of bloody froth from his mouth.

"I guess… my heart… was hit."

Monkey didn't care about the internal organs spilling out of his body; he was going to die anyway.

However, the wound at his heart caused him considerable pain.

On the dust-choked Shimmer Blue Star, the sky was a deep, heavy gray.

"I wonder how much the pension is… if it'll be enough for the kid to grow up…"

Looking at the gray sky, Monkey thought of his wife and child.

Given Monkey's abilities and official status, his family had naturally been retrieved by the Military.

Unfortunately, when Monkey set out, the unit responsible for picking up his family had not yet returned.

"It's been three years since I saw my little one… I really want to see you both one last time…"

A crimson tongue slowly slid into Monkey's wound.

The immense force made Monkey feel as if his heart was about to be ripped out!

He turned his head slightly. In his line of sight was the fleshy skin of the Salamander Demonic Creature.

"Right, the mission isn't over yet."

The pain interrupted Monkey's reminiscence.

His right hand strained to pull out a Plasma Grenade.

The Salamander Demonic Creature didn't recognize such an object, so it paid no mind to the actions of the dying Monkey.

Monkey flipped the safety. Then, as his hand brushed against his Spatial Ring, a continuous stream of Plasma Grenades tumbled out from the storage space.

Blue plasma scattered in every direction, bringing annihilation to everything within range.

Including the three Demonic Creatures, and including… Monkey.

"Follow the plan! Hurry! Monkey won't be able to hold out much longer!"

Wen Yu's urgency was not without reason. In Wen Yu's view, there was no way Monkey could withstand the onslaught of three Level 3 Demonic Creatures!

The difference in strength was completely disproportionate!

Jiang Wentao's slightly hoarse voice came through.
