"One, two, three, lift!"

Accompanied by William's thunderous roar, Chu Ziling, who was standing on William's hands, exerted force with both legs and lunged toward the Silver Skeleton!

"Wen Yu!"

At William's shout, Wen Yu, who had been guarding William's front, turned back and stepped onto William's hands.

Then, as if riding on clouds and mist, Wen Yu flew rapidly toward Chu Ziling's side!

Chu Ziling, who had landed a step ahead of Wen Yu, had already knocked down a large swath of the surrounding Puppets, clearing a landing spot for him!

"Keep going!"

Wen Yu said to Chu Ziling, simultaneously tearing apart another Puppet that had lunged forward.

In the distance, the soul fire of the Silver Skeleton flickered, and it instantly understood the Class Holders' plan.

What a Summoner feared most was being engaged in close-quarters combat!

Without a word, the Silver Skeleton turned and began to flee into the distance.

"Where the hell do you think you're going?"

With Wen Yu's roar, a figure quickly bypassed the swarm of Puppets and launched an explosive sprint toward the Silver Skeleton!

"Save me! Save me!"

Now, the Silver Skeleton was panicking!

Setting aside its own ability kit, the fact that its Physical Attribute dropped by ninety percent after summoning a Contract Creature was enough to turn this Level 3 Demonic Creature into a weakling!

Unfortunately, there was no response to the Silver Skeleton's frantic cries!

Standing amidst the Puppet swarm, the Bone Demon caught a glimpse of the fleeing skeleton out of the corner of its eye. Its eyes flickered, but instead of helping the Silver Skeleton-who Wen Yu was closing in on-it began to creep toward William not far away.

Having experienced the incident with Princess Fina, William was naturally more cautious than ever. He continuously unleashed Moon Slashes, working with Jiang Wentao to slaughter the dwindling number of Puppets!

Meanwhile, the Silver Skeleton's Contract Creature, the Three-Headed Demonic Hound, was locked in a fierce battle with One-Eye!

With the enhancement of the Flesh Tome and the Life-And-Death Combat Ability, One-Eye's Physical Attribute had rapidly climbed to the Level 4 range.

However, the Three-Headed Demonic Hound was no pushover either!

Its three heads continuously spat out intense energy fluctuations, and the wounds on its body were constantly regenerating!

The battle between the two sides had fallen into a stalemate!

Hearing its master's cries for help, the Three-Headed Demonic Hound ignored them completely. It seemed determined to fight One-Eye to the death to see who was stronger!

This stupid dog had no idea that if its master died, the power of the contract would drag it back to the Demon Realm, sending it right back to where it came from!

"Damn it, this stupid dog is going to be the death of me!"

The Silver Skeleton cursed its contract beast while fleeing into the distance.

Unfortunately, with its Physical Attribute reduced by ninety percent, the skeleton's remaining stats were only around ten Points!

Against Wen Yu's Physical Attribute of over 120 Points, the Silver Skeleton…

Was doomed!

Greed's Touch sliced through the skeleton's spine, severing it in one go.

The Silver Skeleton collapsed to the ground, emitting incomprehensible wails. 

Just as it was about to activate the power of Contract Summoning, Wen Yu stepped down, crushing the skeleton's arm!

There was no escape!

Wen Yu's right hand twisted and snapped the skeleton's fragile neck. At the same time, Greed's Touch reached into the skull and churned until the skeleton's soul fire was completely extinguished!

The Silver Skeleton was dead!

With the death of the Silver Skeleton, a black magic circle appeared out of thin air behind the Three-Headed Demonic Hound, which was still locked in combat with One-Eye!

A massive demonic claw seized the Three-Headed Demonic Hound, intent on dragging this intellectually challenged beast back to the Demon Realm.

The Three-Headed Demonic Hound roared violently. From its three heads, the powers of fire, venom, and ice erupted, ravaging the surroundings in a wild frenzy!

One-Eye bore the brunt of it. Struck by the intense surge of energy, his body seemed to be peeled away layer by layer, shrinking at a rate visible to the naked eye!

Finally, when the energy storm subsided, One-Eye's figure reappeared.

His originally four-meter-tall frame had significantly shortened. The flesh on his body had completely vanished, leaving his internal organs fully exposed to the elements!

If not for the Flesh Tome, One-Eye would have been dead many times over!

However, such severe injuries were pushing him to his absolute breaking point!

One-Eye turned his head, wanting to support William in the distance, but he stumbled twice before finally collapsing to the ground!

If the Three-Headed Demonic Hound had held on for just three more seconds, One-Eye wouldn't have made it!

At the same moment the Silver Skeleton died, within the swarm of puppets created by Material Conjuration…

All the Puppets rapidly dissolved into sand, merging into the ground before them without a trace!

"What's going on? Where's that Bone Demon?"

William asked, the Fourth Prince hanging from his neck as he held his greatsword aloft, standing back-to-back with Jiang Wentao.

"He's not on my side either!"

Jiang Wentao's voice came immediately.

Between the two of them, their field of vision covered a full 360 degrees.

But!

There was no sign of the Bone Demon!

It was as if the Bone Demon had vanished into thin air!

"Under your feet! Under your feet!"

Wen Yu's voice drifted in from the distance, sending a wave of icy dread through William!

The Bone Demon was beneath them!

Sound travels at roughly 340 meters per second. For a Level 3 Class Holder, that speed really wasn't fast!

In battles at Level 3 and above, trying to relay urgent combat intelligence via voice was nothing short of a pipe dream!

Thus, Wen Yu's warning was too late!

Two massive bone claws clamped onto William's feet and yanked him downward with violent force!

Only then did Wen Yu's voice finally reach them!

William didn't have time to think. He grabbed the Fourth Prince from around his neck and threw him toward Jiang Wentao!

Then, both the Bone Demon and William disappeared into the sandy soil!

"Run! Run!"

Wen Yu's second shout arrived just as he and Chu Ziling came charging over!

This command was directed at Jiang Wentao.

Jiang Wentao's reactions were by no means slow. He moved to turn and flee the area immediately, but a massive figure burst directly out of the sand!

Earthwalk (Rank B, Active Ability): Allows movement through the earth, but movement speed is reduced by ninety percent!

As Jiang Wentao stared at the four-meter-tall figure before him, cold sweat poured down uncontrollably!

Standing in front of Jiang Wentao was the Bone Demon. William was nowhere to be seen!

This scene felt like a repeat of what had just happened!

Again, it was just as a fierce battle was reaching its conclusion!

Again, it was two men and a child facing a Demonic Creature!

Again, one man had already been taken out by the monster!

But this time, Jiang Wentao had no means to protect the Fourth Prince!

Not even by sacrificing himself!
