Chapter 26 – Rakshasa Ghost

Lin Xi desperately wanted to see Lu Yi’s real cat ears and tail.

Maybe if I kneel before her and beg in the future, she might agree to let me see them. She might even let me touch them… Lin Xi knew this thought was incredibly pathetic, but who could resist the charm of a real Neko?

After waving goodbye to Lu Yi, the three of them left the cat-ear maid cafe.

“Xi! I didn’t want to swap seats with you! I wanted us to sit together!”

“Hurry up and come over here,” Zhao Xinning said, lightly patting the empty seat beside her.

Lin Xi sat down next to Zhao Xinning.

Their shoulders were almost touching… Lin Xi didn’t dare move a muscle. Sitting next to Angel-sama made her incredibly nervous.

They touched!

Both of them stared at the floor of the cabin, their faces flushing a faint red.

As the Ferris wheel slowly rotated, their cabin gradually rose into the air, climbing higher and higher above the ground.

“Yes?”

“You and Miss Shi Yu are quite close, aren’t you?”

“Huh?!” Lin Xi turned to look at Zhao Xinning in disbelief.

She desperately wanted to tell the truth-that she and Shi Yu were in a relationship of exploiter and exploited, parasite and host. The one thing they weren’t was friends.

“Xinning, Miss Shi Yu and I are just ordinary classmates.”

“Is that so? She seems to care about you quite a bit. I think she wants to be good friends with you.”

Shi Yu didn’t say a word. She suddenly stood up and drew a handgun from her backpack.

Lin Xi noticed the change in Shi Yu’s expression. She stood up and followed Shi Yu’s gaze toward the ground.

Among the tourists walking to and fro, a strange, Black-bodied Crimson-haired figure appeared.

“A Dark Realm Creature, a Rakshasa Ghost. It’s a Fourth-Grade Disaster that eats people whole,” Shi Yu said icily. “Anyone attacked by it runs the risk of being assimilated.”

Hearing this, Lin Xi frantically pulled out her phone and dialed Zhao Xinning’s number.

“Xinning, run!”
