A black motorcycle crashed through the glass doors of the second floor and leaped down.

A violent explosion shattered every glass door and window on the second floor.
Flames raged, making the building look like a monster spitting tongues of fire.
“It’s Shi Yu and Lu Yi!”
“That massive explosion… it has to be the work of that Bomb Maniac, Lu Yi.”
“Which means… the monster is inside the building?”
Lin Xi’s eyes widened. On the shattered second-floor windowsill, a massive, burning silhouette stood out, a terrifying sight to behold.
“Is that thing a Level 3 Dark Realm Disaster, the Lava Explosion Bear?!”
The Lava Explosion Bear was gargantuan, standing as tall as an entire floor. Its body was covered in thick, burning scales, with molten lava flowing through the gaps between them.
The intense heat created a high-temperature zone around it. Suddenly, the burning scales on its body shot out like hidden projectiles, hurtling toward the motorcycle speeding away from the building.
“Watch your back!” Lin Xi waved her arms and screamed at Shi Yu and the others.
It was over. They were going to be turned into a sieve by the Lava Explosion Bear’s attack.
However, the tragedy Lin Xi expected didn’t happen.
A series of explosions erupted in the area the motorcycle had just passed, the powerful shockwaves blowing the Lava Explosion Bear’s scales away.
“Incredible!” Lin Xi gasped. “Lu Yi’s precision-controlled explosions are acting like interceptor missiles, neutralizing every single one of the Lava Explosion Bear’s attacks!”
The motorcycle drew closer; the person driving like a maniac was indeed Shi Yu.
“Eh?!” Lin Xi cried out. Before she knew it, Lu Yi reached out and scooped her onto the bike.
Then, Shi Yu pulled a drift. “We’re turning back to kill it!”
Lin Xi: “…”
No, please! Stop!
Every fiber of her being wanted to refuse.
“We already got out! It’s not like this is a mandatory mission, so why go back and fight?!”
Shi Yu replied, “Who’s running away? This is a flanking maneuver. I just picked you up along the way.”
