“Then how do you have the nerve to come out?” Gouzi snapped.

Shen Fei stared blankly. “But…”

“What, you still want to talk back? Let me tell you, Su-Ge’s word is my command. And someone like you opens your mouth and says Team Leader Su? Where are your manners? Do you know how things work or not?” Gouzi continued.

Seeing Shen Fei just staring at him without reacting, Gouzi raised his hand as if he were about to slap him.

Sure enough, that worked better than talking. Shen Fei immediately covered his face and said, “Su-Ge!”

“Louder!”

“All right, get back in there. From now on, if you don’t have any results, don’t come out to see Su-Ge. Team Leader Su, my ass…” As Gouzi spoke, he could not help pretending to swing again.

Su Lifeng stroked her hair, his gaze full of amazement and emotion as he looked at Su Lian’s calves.

A ring of thin membranes like leaves had grown there. Perhaps Su Lian herself had not even noticed, but when she had just pounced on him, her legs had almost completely left the ground. Those membranes had bulged, making her speed terrifying in that instant.

Ever since Su Lifeng had talked her through it that night, she was no longer troubled by their appearance. Su Lian, meanwhile, stood off to the side with a sly little smile. She had not dragged Jiang Yushi out with her precisely because she wanted to see Su Lifeng’s expression now.

After all, even Su Lian herself had been so shocked when she saw her that her mouth had hung open.

Jiang Yushi’s lashes trembled again, and then she slowly opened her eyes.

At first, she nervously looked down at her hands, but she did not find anything wrong.
