Still half-asleep, Lu Yi reached out and wrapped her arms around Lin Xi. “Sleeping Pill~ Don’t go~”

She clearly hadn’t gotten enough sleep yet.

Lin Xi refused to indulge her and rolled straight out of bed.

Qin Ling, meanwhile, confronted her accusingly.

“Lin Xi! Can you hypnotize people?!”

The instant the doorbell rang, Lin Xi told Thor and Qin Ling to hurry back into the bedroom.

She had genuinely been caught off guard.

Zhao Xinning had come much earlier than usual today to walk to school with her.

“What about those two?”

“They’re holding on to me, so they can remain invisible with me.”

Temporary invisibility really was a convenient ability. Thor truly was worthy of being a Special-Grade Disaster.

Compared to the immensely destructive Mega Fireball Spell, Lin Xi would much rather gain a useful ability like invisibility.

She instructed Thor to stay hidden with Qin Ling and Lu Yi. Once she and Zhao Xinning left, the three of them could slip away.

When Lin Xi came out of the bedroom, Zhao Xinning had already returned to the living room.

She had searched the guest room, bathroom, and storage room without finding anyone.

Was I just overthinking it???

But when she entered the kitchen, she saw four plates sitting on the counter.

“Xi, were you planning to eat four servings of breakfast?”

“My appetite isn’t that big,” Lin Xi explained. “Those plates weren’t washed properly, so I was going to wash them again.”
