When Wen Yu entered the large conference room, he found five powerhouses bored out of their minds.

Kuangliu sat at the head of the table, propping up his head with one hand as he yawned.

An Asian man carrying an ancient-style longsword stood with his arms folded and his eyes closed, conserving his energy.

Another Asian man continuously leafed through a Military-compiled book titled An Introduction to Demonic Creatures and Mutant Beast Species.

The other two, both blond and blue-eyed foreigners, sat on opposite sides of the round table and glared at each other.

The moment Wen Yu entered, Kuangliu's face filled with smiles. He greeted Wen Yu.

"Let me introduce you. Every person here is a supreme powerhouse ranked in the top ten of the Sequence…"

As Kuangliu introduced them, the group stood and nodded to Wen Yu.

Wen Yu naturally examined each of them carefully.

"Judging by their heartbeats and the speed of their blood flow, they should be around the middle stage of Level 4."

Of course, that assessment was not exact, and Wen Yu certainly could not ask them about their level and strength to their faces. He rarely did things that openly offended people.

After making a rough judgment in his mind, Wen Yu greeted them and casually found a seat.

Kuangliu nodded when Wen Yu sat down. Then he rose, walked to the conference room's large screen, and tapped the Demon Qi Shield Generator standing inside Demon City.

Silence answered him.

"Then there are no objections… Let's move."

Kuangliu was decisive. He headed straight for the door. Wen Yu and the others offered no opinions and simply followed him.

Several Military vehicles sped toward Demon City.

Wen Yu sat in the passenger seat, teasing One-Eye in his arms. Kuangliu drove, occasionally chatting with him.

"Once we recover the Demon Qi Shield Generator, the Military plans to occupy Demon City completely, then seal off the Demon Realm Gates and turn this Treasure Land into a training ground in truth as well as name. What do you think?"

"Sounds fine," Wen Yu answered perfunctorily.

Kuangliu was unsurprised by his tone and continued.

"I reserved you a place in front of one Demon Realm Gate. You get one-quarter of the Demonic Creatures that emerge, and I get another quarter. It took me a lot of effort to get that approved. Pretty generous of me, isn't it?"

Wen Yu nodded immediately.

Only two Demon Realm Gates remained. Wen Yu would effectively receive one-eighth of every Demonic Creature appearing in the Outpost Treasure Land. What reason could he possibly have to complain?

"What about the foreigners?"

Only Wen Yu and Kuangliu were inside the vehicle, so they had no fear of being overheard.

"When the time comes, the two of us will use our authority to teleport them straight out. We'll tell them the Outpost Treasure Land has closed."

Only Kuangliu and Wen Yu-the two Level 5 Sequence members-possessed authority inside the Treasure Land. Kaldor, after being softened up with food and drink, could already be considered half an ally. With both Sequence members acting together, they truly could accomplish it.

"Use them, then toss them aside… I like it."

Wen Yu gave Kuangliu a knowing smile.

Kuangliu protested, "This isn't using them and tossing them aside. It's treating friends and outsiders differently."

If Wen Yu did not currently possess the greatest authority inside the Treasure Land, those people might sell him out at any moment.

After a long silence, Wen Yu spoke again.

"I wanted to ask you something. Your father told me you had a run-in with a Divine Beast Species recently…"

The corner of Kuangliu's eye twitched twice. After a long while, he answered helplessly.

"The Ghost-Faced Qilin, right? That thing is insane. The Vermilion Bird and I went to Lhasa last time to bring it under control… and it beat us back."

"Couldn't you communicate with it?"

Kuangliu shook his head.

"Communication wasn't the problem. We were having a perfectly good conversation until we asked it to join the Military. The Ghost-Faced Qilin immediately went crazy and said it needed to test our strength… I won't bother describing the result. It chased me around like a Monkey."

The moment Kuangliu finished, he glanced at Wen Yu.

"That's right. Your Fifth Soul Realm still doesn't have a Soul Pet. That Ghost-Faced Qilin really is powerful."

Wen Yu nodded.

"Have you seen any of the other Divine Beast Species?"

Kuangliu shook his head.
