The Giant Eagle's flight path was heading straight for the Chaihe Town Settlement.

This happened to coincide perfectly with Wen Yu's route toward the Mountain Forest.

Looking at the town entrance, Wen Yu saw the Sapphire Giant Eagle perched aloofly atop a massive plaque that read "Welcome to Chaihe Town." He immediately entered his Combat State, and Greed's Touch rapidly elongated in his hand!

Beside him, One-Eye let out a low whimper, crouching slightly as he prepared for battle.

The Giant Eagle, standing high upon the plaque, tilted its neck and scrutinized the man and dog below.

Suddenly, it exhaled a blast of frigid air, but Wen Yu and One-Eye both dodged it.

The cold air wasn't particularly fast, nor was it very powerful, proving that the Giant Eagle's strength had indeed been significantly depleted.

However, Wen Yu and One-Eye were completely helpless against this Feathered Beast!

It wasn't that they were afraid of it, but they simply couldn't deal with the fact that the damn thing could fly!

Consequently, Wen Yu and One-Eye spent their time dodging ice spikes and freezing air falling from the sky, unable to do anything to the Giant Eagle soaring high above them!

Watching the path the Giant Eagle was taking as it disappeared into the distance, Wen Yu's brow furrowed.

"It's heading for the Settlement. One-Eye, what do you think?"
