Chapter 47
Fingertips brushed across the palm, both scorching and slightly cool.
The heat came from body temperature, the coolness from Xiao Yin’s breath beside his nose, very light, gently sweeping through his fingers.
Rong Yi understood what he said.
Although he might not fully grasp the content, he at least understood the core of Xiao Yin’s message.
His cheeks turned a bit red.
No one had ever gently held his hand and spoken these words to him in his life.
Although it was somewhat inappropriate, he felt a bit moved.
Rong Yi thought for a moment, then lightly pulled his fingers away, gently placing them on Xiao Yin’s hair.
Xiao Yin’s hair was of medium length, a bit shorter than his own, jet black but slightly coarse, like unshaven stubble, a distinct male texture unlike his own.
However, Xiao Yin was too tall, so Rong Yi just lightly touched it before pulling his hand back.
Xiao Yin quickly regained his composure. He blinked, and within moments, his usual calm, expressionless demeanor returned.
He had gathered his emotions, lowering his eyes to look calmly at Rong Yi.
The two of them were very close, almost touching.
Rong Yi was completely unaware. He was still thinking about Xiao Yin’s words.
“Green did pursue me, but that was a long time ago.”
Rong Yi thought for a moment, closing his eyes briefly to recall, “After he confessed, our relationship faded, and we haven’t been in touch since.”
“As for preferences, don’t worry about it.”
“When I was younger, I’d loudly declare who I liked. My tastes were different then. It’s just as well.”
After thinking through and responding to each thought, he felt a warmth in his heart. Seizing the moment, he asked, “What’s with the five years?”
Xiao Yin didn’t respond. He lowered his head and gently wrapped his arm around Rong Yi’s shoulder: “Some unhappy things, you don’t need to hear about them. I’ll handle it.”
Rong Yi blinked, the corners of his lips curving slightly: “I kind of want to hear.”
Today, Xiao Yin was so rare and precious, making it hard for him not to want more.
He was also curious about what could make Xiao Yin unwilling to talk.
It didn’t have much to do with him directly. He still liked him, and whether there were misunderstandings from five years ago or now didn’t really matter; it was just that they had grown up.
Perhaps Xiao Yin had stayed by his side all these five years, and maybe he was still the same as before. But he never looked back, only remembered the present.
He stood quietly in front of Xiao Yin, lifting his eyes to look at him. The charm in his peach blossom eyes made him look obedient.
He simply said, “I want to.”
Xiao Yin looked down at him, and Rong Yi noticed he paused for a moment.
Without any further hesitation, Xiao Yin tilted his head, lowered it even more, and kissed his lips.
It was a light, pecking kiss, but continuous, giving Rong Yi no chance to speak.
Carefully counting, this was only their second kiss while both were fully conscious. The last time had been in a hotel.
It was unlike any kiss they’d had before, devoid of any desire, yet filled with a different kind of affirmation and sense of possession.
Originally, Rong Yi was standing face-to-face with Xiao Yin. After a while, he found it hard to remain standing as Xiao Yin’s advances grew stronger.
He reached out to grab Xiao Yin’s collar for support, and Xiao Yin wrapped an arm around his waist.
A few more minutes passed.
Even with his grip on Xiao Yin’s collar, Rong Yi couldn’t stand any longer. He was placed into a chair, forced to wrap his arms around Xiao Yin’s neck.
As the kiss gradually changed in nature, Rong Yi came to a new realization: in adult relationships, genuine emotional exposure is fleeting.
Making love is the main event!
The most frustrating part was that he could no longer resist making love with Xiao Yin.
With his arms around Xiao Yin’s neck, his body was lifted off the ground and carried horizontally from the Training Room, up the stairs, and all the way to his own room.
Xiao Yin’s hands were very steady, his muscles slightly tensed from the weight, feeling very firm.
Rong Yi started to feel a bit anxious. Trying to keep calm, he said, “How about another day? We have post match analysis tomorrow morning.”
Xiao Yin asked in a low voice, “You don’t want to?”
“It’s not that I don’t want to,” Rong Yi replied honestly, “It’s just that you’ll render me unable to get out of bed.”
As soon as he said this, Rong Yi felt Xiao Yin’s arm around his shoulder tighten.
When Rong Yi was laid down in the center of his large bed, Xiao Yin leaned over him, his voice indifferent and calm.
“I have a proposal,” Xiao Yin said.
Rong Yi knew he was in deep trouble. He was pinned down, unable to move. After a futile attempt to struggle, he resignedly lay back on the bed, tilting his head to ask, “What?”
“We need to adapt,” Xiao Yin said, his voice strained. “The competition period is a bit too long.”
Rong Yi blushed again.
He knew exactly what Xiao Yin meant.
Saying that sex affects their performance was true, especially if they went at it for hours like they had before.
But if managed well in terms of frequency and duration, it could even help them sleep better.
With such long competition periods, keeping everything pent up might actually be worse for their performance.
Xiao Yin looked down at him, his sharp and deep phoenix eyes piercing.
Rong Yi couldn’t meet his gaze. His eyes darted around before he finally just closed them.
His voice was softer now, but still carried the last of his rationality and calm.
“…Not past midnight.”
“Alright.”
“…And change positions,” Rong Yi continued with his eyes closed. “Not like last time.”
“Okay.”
As Xiao Yin moved, he said, “I know your back hurt for a long time last time. I’m sorry.”
Xiao Yin was indeed willing to accommodate him in such matters.
Rong Yi was turned over, his back pressed down.
There were still people in the villa, and although only the two of them lived on the second floor, the other three were on the first floor. If anyone got up in the middle of the night to get water from the living room, they might hear things they shouldn’t.
Rong Yi suppressed his voice, only occasionally letting out low moans.
Xiao Yin truly kept his word. Today, he was as gentle as the sun-warmed sea tides. Rong Yi, on the other hand, couldn’t let go as much as last time, his face turning red by the end.
Afterwards, Xiao Yin lightly bit the tip of his ear, polite yet calm: “Can I stay?”
“…Suit yourself. It’s fine.”
Rong Yi began to think Xiao Yin was really impossible to resist. Even such questions were asked so seriously. He threw a pillow at him, his ear itching and hurting from the bite.
How could there be someone like Xiao Yin in this world?
Anything taken to such extremes would become improper.
Xiao Yin caught the pillow steadily. Then he leaned over, lifted the blanket, and snuggled in close, hugging Rong Yi around the waist.
Their skin was soft, their body temperatures mingling, and the comforting scent of their body wash lingered between them.
Xiao Yin held him tightly, almost crushing him in his embrace, leaving no gap between them.
Rong Yi was someone who rolled around a lot in his sleep. Held so tightly, he woke up with every movement, but he was so tired that he still managed to fall asleep like that.
The next day, Rong Yi woke up to find Xiao Yin still asleep.
He woke up because there was some noise outside. Their rooms were directly across from each other, and someone was gently knocking on Xiao Yin’s door, likely having something urgent to discuss.
“Yin-Ge? Yin-Ge, you have a magazine interview today. Are you up? The appointment for your styling is at seven.”
Rong Yi stirred and got up, thinking he should either go out and respond or wake Xiao Yin up.
But neither option seemed quite right.
He glanced around.
The soft bed looked like it had been hit by a bomb, with both he and Xiao Yin almost completely exposed.
He was slightly better off; although Xiao Yin had torn part of his clothing, his T-shirt was of good quality and hadn’t been ripped apart by hand.
In their current state, they definitely couldn’t be seen by anyone.
Rong Yi leaned down and gently nudged Xiao Yin, tentatively calling him a few times: “Boss, time to get up.”
He found it a bit amusing after saying it. Xiao Yin had it tough.
Being the boss meant getting up at seven, doing a magazine shoot, and then coming back for post match analysis. Rong Yi couldn’t understand how Xiao Yin had so much energy.
The knocking continued outside, and Xiao Yin half-opened his eyes, his mood visibly sour, showing evident impatience toward the voice outside.
Xiao Yin was not a morning person. Before Rong Yi could react, he was pulled back into the bed and tightly embraced.
Xiao Yin’s voice was deep and slightly hoarse: “Ignore them.”
The knocking persisted outside. Rong Yi, wanting to go back to sleep, decided to sell Xiao Yin out to get some peace and quiet.
He continued to push Xiao Yin: “Boss, boss, time to get up.”
He looked at him calmly.
Given how much Xiao Yin loved him now, he felt he could be more brazen in front of him.
Xiao Yin watched him for a while. Rong Yi maintained a calm smile.
He knew Xiao Yin understood his intentions.
“So eager to get rid of me.” Xiao Yin propped himself up, leaning over to look at him, a gentle smile playing at the corners of his eyes.
An iceberg’s smile was indeed captivating.
“Wake me up at eight,” Xiao Yin said.
“Huh?” Rong Yi responded.
Xiao Yin was still looming over him, unmoving, but his voice was calm, slightly louder, and methodically giving instructions with a composed demeanor.
Rong Yi then realized Xiao Yin was speaking to the person outside.
“Wake me up at eight. I’ll do hair and makeup in the car. Call the magazine to reschedule.”
Both the people inside and outside the room fell silent.
The assistant, confirming that the voice came from Rong Yi’s room, was momentarily stunned but dutifully noted the schedule change.
“I need to be back by ten for the post match analysis. Wu Daogu will lead it, Captain Rong will supplement, and I’ll finish my part in the car. Submit it to the Data Team. I want to see their feedback.”
The assistant, standing before the heavy, silent wooden door marked “Easy,” was filled with reverence and silence.
“Understood.”
Footsteps echoed and then faded away.
Silence returned.
Xiao Yin, composed and calm, looked down to seek his opinion: “Continue?”
