Chapter 129 – The View in the Bathroom

“What a headache…”

Ling Mo woke up in the middle of the night, struggling to open his eyes and shaking his dizzy head. He slowly sat up, feeling a bit disoriented.

The swing bed underneath him swayed a couple of times, almost causing Ling Mo to fall back down.

“What a lousy bed…” Ling Mo quickly grabbed the hanging ropes and wobbled off.

In the faint moonlight seeping through the window, Ling Mo fumbled to put on his shoes and socks, then headed towards the door.

Through his psychic link, he could sense that the three advanced zombies were in the room next door.

Although he wanted to immediately switch his vision to confirm if the three were getting along, the previous drain on his psychic power had been too great. Just thinking about it made his head spin, so he had to reluctantly give up.

“Those two girls shouldn’t cause any trouble.”

Ling Mo could feel that Xia Na and Ye Lian held some hostility towards Li Yalin. However, the three of them were now indirectly connected psychically, so at least they shouldn’t break into a fight.

There wasn’t much he could do about it. After all, Li Yalin had dragged him away right under their noses before. As advanced zombies, they had their own emotions, and their feelings of love and hate were even more pronounced than humans.

Xia Na had previously thought about digging out Li Yalin’s brain, mostly because of this reason.

After successfully controlling Li Yalin, Ling Mo had to rest due to excessive consumption of his energy. Li Yalin’s injury at the back of her head had likely gone untreated.

Although advanced zombies had strong self-healing abilities, the injury was at the back of her head. Since he was now awake, Ling Mo thought it would be best to apply some medication.

A zombie puppet should be put to use as soon as possible, or all his efforts would be in vain.

He found his backpack on a chair by the door and took out a tube of anti-inflammatory ointment. Then he opened the door and walked out.

The door to the next room was wide open. With three advanced zombies inside, there was no fear of an ordinary zombie attack. The three of them clearly had no sense of that kind of danger.

Ling Mo stumbled in the dark, feeling a bit frustrated. Why did it suddenly seem like he was the weakest one?

This wouldn’t do. Ye Lian and Xia Na were his targets to conquer. If he lacked the strength, wouldn’t he end up being the one suppressed?

As for Li Yalin… Ling Mo only saw her as a powerful zombie puppet, without any other intentions.

However, upon entering, Ling Mo didn’t see the three female zombies. Just as he was feeling puzzled, he heard some faint noises coming from the bathroom.

“What are they up to?”

Rubbing his temples, Ling Mo slowly approached the bathroom and reached out to open the door.

Though this motel was remote, it spared no expense to make money. The interior was well-equipped, and the bathroom was not only spacious but also tastefully designed. Upon opening the door, he first saw the sink, followed by a semi-transparent glass wall.

The glass wall was mostly transparent, providing little to no privacy, but the partial barrier added a certain allure.

Despite the dim lighting, Ling Mo’s eyes had already adjusted to the darkness, allowing him to roughly make out the scene inside.

But as soon as he opened the door, he was stunned.

Behind the glass wall stood three slender shadows, each with a distinct yet captivating physique.

Especially after advancing to advanced zombies, their bodies held immense explosive power, which fragile bodies could not withstand.

While they hadn’t developed into muscular women, their toned thighs and curvaceous figures exuded a wild beauty.

Among the three bodies, two had slightly different auras. One was taller and looked more slender, clearly Ye Lian. The other had a flatter chest… Upon seeing the flat-chested figure, Ling Mo immediately recognized Xia Na. Though her chest wasn’t ample, it was moldable and had great potential.

Ling Mo hadn’t expected Senior Sister Li Yalin’s figure to be so voluptuous. Being the tallest, she had a model-like charm.

At that moment, she had her back to Ling Mo, her long hair tied up, revealing her fair neck. Ling Mo’s gaze swept over, but then he noticed a dark brown scar.

Such a scar suggested a deep wound at the time. The irregular shape of the scar made Ling Mo think it might have been caused by a bite.

Could it be that Li Yalin was infected after being bitten? It wasn’t impossible… Before Ling Mo could think further, an even more blood-pumping scene unfolded before his eyes.

The three female zombies had likely turned the entire motel upside down, found some water, and were now bathing. However, Li Yalin, still in a dazed state, had been stripped and brought here.

At this moment, Ye Lian was holding Li Yalin by the arms, supporting her to barely keep her standing, while Xia Na, holding a towel, was vigorously scrubbing Li Yalin, imitating how Ling Mo used to clean them.

Although Ling Mo had experienced similar bathing scenes many times before, he could guarantee he had never done what Xia Na did next!

Xia Na spread Li Yalin’s legs apart and began scrubbing her sensitive areas with the towel.

It’s important to note that zombies also have physiological reactions. After being scrubbed for a while, Li Yalin furrowed her brows and made a peculiar sound: “Mmm…”

The mix of pain and pleasure in that sound made Ling Mo’s face flush red. However, Xia Na looked up at Li Yalin in confusion and asked, “What’s wrong with her?”

Ye Lian shook her head blankly: “I don’t know… wound… hurts?”

“It shouldn’t hurt; I didn’t smash her skull.” Xia Na replied nonchalantly.

The two girls had already noticed Ling Mo’s presence but showed no surprise.

In fact, they were somewhat accustomed to appearing before Ling Mo in such a state. After all, when they were still mutation zombies, not only bathing but even dressing was Ling Mo’s responsibility.

“Ling-Ge, you’re awake? Perfect timing, come see what’s wrong with her,” Xia Na called out to Ling Mo, turning her head in his direction. She added a complaint, “She’s so dirty. I was going to change her clothes, but then I realized her body was also filthy. So, I found some water to clean her up.”

Ling Mo thought to himself, with you scrubbing so hard, how could she not react?

But how could Xia Na understand such things? If she hadn’t mutated, she might have realized that her actions were causing Li Yalin’s unusual reactions. However, after mutating into a zombie, her thinking differed from that of humans.

“Just finish washing her and put some clothes on. Why are you messing with her when she’s still unconscious?” Ling Mo said helplessly.

Xia Na’s eyes, faintly glowing red in the darkness, looked especially eerie. She slightly curled her lips, revealing her white teeth, “When she wakes up, you wouldn’t let me touch her.”

Ling Mo was initially stunned, then immediately felt something was off, “Xia Na, what did you do to her?”

“Just some fun stuff.” Despite the dim lighting, Ling Mo could clearly sense the mischievousness in Xia Na’s smile.

If Xia Na found it fun, it was definitely not a good thing!

Ling Mo groaned inwardly, worried that his painstakingly controlled Zombie Puppet would be broken. Li Yalin was truly unlucky. If she were conscious, Xia Na wouldn’t be able to mess with her so freely. Given her strength, in a one-on-one fight, both Xia Na and Ye Lian would probably be slightly inferior to Li Yalin.

Unfortunately, the unconscious Li Yalin was now like a lamb without any resistance, devoid of the terrifying aura of an Advanced Zombie.

Hearing Ling Mo’s question, Xia Na put down the towel and suddenly splashed a basin of water over Li Yalin’s body.

The large amount of water instantly drenched both Li Yalin and Ye Lian, shocking Li Yalin awake.

As soon as she opened her eyes, it was like a strange red glow lit up in the darkness. Her slender eyes showed alertness and a bit of confusion.

“You… this…”

She slightly twisted her body but couldn’t break free from Ye Lian’s grip, so she warily looked at Xia Na in front of her.

It was clear that although she was awake, her head was still fuzzy, and her strength hadn’t returned yet.

Xia Na snorted coldly, glaring at her with dissatisfaction, then shoved the towel into her arms. Ye Lian also let go of her at the same time.

“Clean yourself,” she said.

Xia Na and Ye Lian had apparently finished washing up earlier and quickly got dressed, while Li Yalin stood there holding the towel, looking bewildered.

She felt a subtle shift in her psychic state but couldn’t pinpoint exactly what was wrong. It wasn’t until she turned and saw Ling Mo standing at the doorway that she realized something was amiss.

The moment she saw Ling Mo, a flash of murderous intent appeared in her eyes. But just as quickly, a sharp pain shot through her mind, and that killing intent was forcibly suppressed.

Faced with Ling Mo, a human, her initial urge to kill—typical for an Advanced Zombie—was replaced by a faint sense of familiarity and warmth.

“You…”

Li Yalin, despite having a relatively high level of intelligence, couldn’t comprehend the situation at all. She could only look at Ling Mo with a blank expression.

Ling Mo, of course, had no intention of explaining anything to her, especially since his attention was now focused on Li Yalin’s face.

He finally understood what Xia Na had done to Li Yalin… “Ahem… um, you should wash your face first. You really can’t be seen like this. And, uh…”

Ling Mo’s gaze involuntarily shifted to a particular area on Li Yalin’s body. He honestly didn’t mean to look, but it was just too conspicuous thanks to Xia Na… How much weird stuff did Xia Na have stored in her memory? This thought crossed Ling Mo’s mind as he glanced at the razor left on the toilet lid and the pile of hair next to it.
