Chapter 421 – Let’s Do Something Meaningful While Everyone’s Away

The strange smell was clearly the reason why the Long-haired Youth and his group could attract so many Zombies.

“Let’s just take them up to the Rooftop. According to Liu Baodong, isn’t the Helicopter coming today?” Ling Mo thought for a moment and said.

Lucy hesitated for a moment, then nodded: “That works. With so many Zombies below, any delay could be disastrous.”

“Actually, it’s easy to handle this.” Ling Mo said with a smile, “The Helicopter can help us out.”

“Alright, I’ll leave it to you…”

Without Ling Mo, their losses would have been significant.

“What else?” Ling Mo asked, puzzled.

Liu Baodong, seething with frustration, clamped his mouth shut.

If he continued talking with Ling Mo, he felt he might just explode with anger.

Having spent so much time with his Zombie girlfriends, Ling Mo felt that his own mindset had undergone some subtle changes.

Although there were still many burdens weighing on him, Ling Mo generally felt much lighter. When the crisis was temporarily averted, his tense nerves would immediately relax.

“This feels like really living, not just living to survive…” Ling Mo mused.

Over two hours later, a Helicopter appeared.

Liu Baodong immediately jumped up with excitement, but just as he was about to start waving, Xia Na handed him a flagpole.

“Uh… right, I almost forgot.”

He looked down at his paint-covered body with a bitter smile, then glanced back at the freshly painted large characters on the wall.

As Liu Baodong vigorously waved the flagpole and kept jumping in front of the wall, the approaching Helicopter suddenly veered off course, leading a large group of attracted Zombies in the opposite direction.

A few minutes later, the Helicopter circled back and slowly descended.

As soon as the cabin door opened, a voice yelled out, “Hurry up, those things will be here soon!”

Liu Baodong, overwhelmed with excitement, waved his hand and looked back at Ling Mo.

“Go on, remember my payment. Don’t forget about your allies,” Ling Mo said nonchalantly.

“I really want to punch you…” Lucy said coldly from the side. “If it weren’t for the fact that you saved me.”

“Lulu, don’t worry too much about these details…” Ling Mo said.

“Calling me a hostage to my face is just a detail?!”

Although the “hostage” seemed quite displeased, Liu Baodong wiped the sweat off his forehead and nodded, “Don’t worry, I, Liu Baodong, won’t fail to deliver the payment. Of course, when I get back, it’s going to be rough for me…”

“Just go.”

“Hurry up and get lost…”

Seeing several Zombies appearing at the end of the street and rapidly closing in with the speed of a hundred-meter dash, Liu Baodong immediately shut his mouth and boarded the Helicopter with two still-unconscious Team Members.

A shirtless man with a body full of scars and exaggerated tattoos covering most of his body came around from behind Quinn. He lightly pinched her Hair and leaned close to her ear, smiling as he said, “Why don’t you go check it out?”
