Chapter 505 – Superpower: Replication
Loong narrowly dodged the strike.
Li Yalin’s wrist blade, “Snake Kiss,” had a unique design and a long curve.
Even though he evaded most of it, the final hook still cut into his muscle, causing him to clutch his shoulder in pain, gritting his teeth.
He immediately realized he had underestimated this delicate-looking woman.
This was no ordinary woman; she was lethal!
He had only exchanged a few words to probe her defenses, and it almost cost him his life.
“So… so powerful…”
Loong gasped, glaring at Li Yalin.
But seeing Li Yalin’s movements, a chill ran up his spine.
This Femme Fatale was staring at the blood droplets on her wrist blade with a fanatical gleam in her eyes…
“Like a Zombie…”
Loong shuddered, gripping his bayonet tightly.
At that moment, he suddenly pushed off with his foot and, in the blink of an eye, appeared at Li Yalin’s side.
With a twist of his body, Loong was behind her, swinging his bayonet down towards the back of her neck.
“Huh?”
Li Yalin looked up, surprised.
But despite her surprise, she moved much faster than Loong.
Almost as soon as he appeared, she swiftly sidestepped, letting the blade graze past her body, while “Snake Kiss” aimed for Loong’s neck.
“Clang!”
Loong’s other arm came up to block.
The sleeve was torn open by “Snake Kiss,” revealing an iron bracer underneath.
“Damn it…”
Had he not retreated immediately, Li Yalin likely had more tricks up her sleeve.
Loong cursed inwardly at how troublesome Li Yalin was, while she was curious about his movements.
His attack just now mirrored Li Yalin’s actions.
Although it wasn’t a perfect replication, it was enough to astonish this straightforward-thinking female Zombie.
However, only Loong knew how far he was from truly imitating Li Yalin!
The superpower “Replication” allowed him to perfectly mimic any move he saw.
Although each move could only be replicated once, the accuracy was remarkably high, almost reaching a perfect copy.
During the use of this superpower, any move the enemy made would be instantly recorded by him and then executed using his own muscles.
Even moves that pushed human limits could be barely managed.
But Li Yalin’s moves… he could only simplify them!
Some of her moves were simply impossible for a human to perform!
“Restrained…”
Loong immediately considered this possibility. Unlike Black Cat, he didn’t believe in fighting to the bitter end.
So upon realizing this, he turned and fled.
The process of the battle didn’t matter; what mattered was the outcome…
“In this place, she has too much of an advantage. Better to lure her elsewhere…”
Loong glanced towards the Castle, gritting his teeth…
As the two figures raced towards the Castle, Ling Mo and Xia Na had already reached the area below the Castle through a passage.
“Everything here is automated… this guy is playing a high-level game.”
Just as Ling Mo approached a door, it creaked open on its own.
In terms of the psychic realm’s intricacy, the one inside this superhuman’s mind was the most sophisticated Ling Mo had ever encountered.
Even though he was trapped here, Ling Mo had learned a few things.
His own psychic power was already well-formed and fundamentally based on Puppet Control, making it impossible to develop like this.
But Xia Na? She was a Zombie with exceptionally strong psychic power but no superpower.
If she were a blank canvas, theoretically, any picture could be painted on it.
Moreover, Xia Na showed a keen interest in this place. To others, this was merely an ambiguous psychic realm, but to Xia Na, especially Nana, it was a manifestation of countless psychic abilities.
When Xia Na encountered that long-haired youth, she had already considered that her eyes had the ability to create hallucinations, essentially influencing others’ psychic power through her own. In essence, it was a form of psychic attack.
Since the origin was the same, could she learn these superpowers and create such illusions herself?
If she could achieve that, not only would she move more easily among Zombies, but she could also gain the upper hand in any battle.
It’s obvious: is it easier to fight on someone else’s battlefield or in your own domain?
So, as these two walked along, they were actually observing how this psychic realm worked…
“Lucy did mention every member of the F Team and their superpowers. This must be the one called ‘Domain’…”
This was the most powerful illusion Ling Mo had ever seen, especially effective against those with mental abilities. It was practically invincible…
“This guy must have incredibly strong mental energy!”
Thinking about this made Ling Mo excited.
Xia Na glanced at him and thought to herself: This guy is in for trouble…
Compared to the outside, the interior of the Castle was clearly more intricate.
After the door opened, there was a small underground cell. Breaking through the “iron bars” in front of them would undoubtedly waste some mental energy.
“I’ll handle this…”
Ling Mo quickly stopped Xia Na, using a psychic tentacle to easily disperse the mental energy.
Once this energy was absorbed, more strange things appeared on the walls of the underground cell…
“So, this is all that’s in your subconscious…”
Xia Na began to say but was pulled away by Ling Mo.
“Let me see… I’ll definitely tell Ye Lian! Hey, why are the things related to me like that…”
Amid Xia Na’s shouts, Ling Mo clenched his fist: “This damned superhuman, I won’t let this bastard go. He must be here…”
As he gritted his teeth, he heard a piercing scream from above.
“Huh?”
Ling Mo quickly sped up, pulling Xia Na along as they ran upwards.
At this moment, within the Castle, a black figure was spewing flames, chasing after a man in red.
“Where did this thing come from?!”
The man in red looked extremely frustrated, having been chased by this suddenly appearing Monster for several minutes now.
Although he had created a psychic realm resembling a Dragon Castle, his psychic power wasn’t strong enough to conjure up “Monsters” within it.
If he could manifest a few Dragons made of mental energy, he wouldn’t need to team up with Black Cat.
Because he could only trap his opponents without having effective killing power, Zhen Zhiyuan had to seek out partners to complete this mission together.
But that didn’t mean he could only stand by and watch…
When his “Domain” was activated, his spiritual body naturally existed within this psychic realm.
He knew this, and it was evident that Ling Mo, as a mental ability superhuman, knew it too.
He had expected to encounter Ling Mo, but instead, this Monster appeared out of nowhere.
“How long are you going to chase me?!”
Zhen Zhiyuan sped up. As a spiritual body in his own psychic realm, he could move as freely as a fish in water.
He wasn’t bound by the “buildings”; he could dive through them, shape-shift as needed…
Yet he couldn’t shake off this entity, also made of mental energy!
“Roar!”
As Zhen Zhiyuan angrily stopped in a hall, the black shadow halted too.
A black body, eyes flickering with red flames, three huge Dog Heads, and… a small, upright-walking body.
“What the heck is this thing?!”
Zhen Zhiyuan roared internally, and as he reached out to the wall, he pulled out a sword made of psychic power.
He couldn’t change the psychic realm anymore, but as its master, he could freely use the mental energy within it…
“Red clothes…” one Dog Head suddenly spoke.
“Yeah, red clothes, but he looks so sleazy,” another Dog Head chimed in.
The last Dog Head stuck out its tongue, then let out a mocking laugh from its mouth: “Ahahaha…”
