Ling Mo responded to Jianqi’s provocation with a cold laugh, choosing to ignore him.

After nodding at Ling Mo, Lucy followed Jianqi to the conference room, while Tom led Ling Mo and his group to a room that had been prepared for them.

“The Vice Captain is going to a meeting with the Fire team, and Captain Yuwen has other things to handle. You guys can rest here for now.”

Tom gave Ling Mo a hearty pat on the shoulder and said, “Honestly, I think you should just stay here. But I guess it’s not up to me to decide, hahaha…”

“Thanks…”

Ling Mo replied with a broad smile and returned the pat.

Tom winced and took a sharp breath, his shoulder dipping slightly.

“That was payback! And how did he get so strong after being apart for just a short while…”

Tom thought, gritting his teeth.

Not long after Ling Mo and his group entered the Air Force Corps, several helicopters heading to Falcon Camp returned.

In terms of efficiency, Falcon was even better than the original Air Force Corps.

“No wonder it’s a camp constantly besieged by zombies…”

Ling Mo remarked, standing by the window.

Falcon members jumped off the helicopters one by one. Judging by their movements, most of them were rookies.

“Are you seriously asking to change official titles just to accommodate your surname?”

Su Qianrou glared at him and said, “Don’t worry about titles. Whether it’s Falcon or the Air Force Corps, we’re no longer the military forces we used to be. We don’t need to follow the old rules. Commander Yuwen sounds just fine, doesn’t it?”

“Commander-in-Chief…”

“No room for negotiation!”

Su Qianrou sighed, somewhat exasperated, “I’d rather go back and argue with the higher-ups than talk to you. By the way, this is practically blackmail, isn’t it…” Su Qianrou gave Yuwen Xuan a meaningful look, “Here, your appointment letter.”

Yuwen Xuan took it, glanced at it briefly, and tossed it to a soldier behind him.

“The former Air Force Corps is officially renamed Falcon Second Camp. All matters, big and small, are now your responsibility, but you must comply with headquarters’ directives. But the direction he was taking them wasn’t towards his office…
