Chapter 38 – Do You Need an Injection?

In the darkness, a hand reached toward him from behind. The terror that gripped him jolted Su Lifeng awake in an instant.

He whipped around, eyes wide, staring behind him.

There was nothing there… But the hand he had seen in that Precognitive Vision, did it belong to that Wisdom Species?

Almost at that exact moment, Su Lifeng felt his scalp go numb. On instinct, he flared his Bone Wings backward.

The Nurse Xenospecies who had been sneaking up on him with a syringe collapsed to the floor. Both sides of her neck had been pierced through by the Bone Wings.
