Chapter 5 – Living with a Pervert
Zhao Xinning’s sudden appearance left Lin Xi a bit flustered.
She hurried to the back door.
“Xinning, why did you come looking for me?”
“I was worried about you, Xi,” Zhao Xinning said with concern. “When I went to find you this morning, you seemed a bit out of it.”

“I don’t believe you,” Shi Yu huffed. “You’re trying to lull me into a false sense of security with words. What is this, a sneak attack?”

Half an hour later, Lin Xi arrived back at her home, accompanied by the uninvited little devil that was Shi Yu.
“Your place is pretty nice-” Shi Yu entered the living room and plopped down on the sofa. “Starting today, we’re living together!”

“I don’t want to live with a pervert…”
“What did you say?” Shi Yu set her backpack down and looked at Lin Xi.
“I said, would you like a cup of tea, Miss Shi Yu?” Lin Xi asked with a forced smile.
“I don’t drink tea.” Shi Yu made herself completely at home, walking toward the fridge without the slightest bit of courtesy to rummage for a drink. “I’ll have a Coke.”
In this house, Lin Xi, the actual owner, was the one who seemed stiff and reserved.
