Chapter 15 – Shut Up

Volume 1: Apocalypse Beginning

Staring at Wen Yu in front of him, Xiao Lin swallowed hard.

This young man spoke politely, but the coldness in his eyes was completely undisguised. As a police officer, Xiao Lin naturally understood-he'd only seen that kind of look in murderers or violent criminals before.

Comparing their strengths, Officer Xiao wisely chose to compromise.

"I'm Xiao Lin, a police officer."

Wen Yu ignored Fatty Wang and stared intently at Xiao Lin.

Xiao Lin looked at Fatty Wang lying in the distance, then at Wen Yu in front of him.

Just as Fatty Wang finished speaking and everyone thought Wen Yu had already left, he suddenly appeared at the supermarket entrance, wearing a mocking smile as he spoke slowly.

But the expressions of those left in the supermarket were distinctly different.

Fatty Wang stared blankly at Wen Yu's departing figure, then glanced at Officer Xiao's uncertain face. His once rosy, chubby face was now completely drained of color.

Officer Xiao stared at the ceiling, as if talking to himself.
