Chapter 21 – S-Rank Skill: Phasing

"Eat him."

One-Eye at the side was hungry too. Although this human wasn't very strong, he could at least fill the belly a little.

All active abilities consumed stamina-there was no such thing as unlimited casting.

Wen Yu finally understood why Li Quan'an's subordinate had been willing to take the risk.

If that man had managed to tear open the scroll, it would have directly replaced the initial Skill gained after Changed Class. With this ability, the attacks from people like them would be completely ineffective. There was a strong chance he could escape from Treasure Land, and then start slipping through walls and burrowing into the ground.

Where would Wen Yu even go to find him? And even if he did find him, what would it matter?

But for the time being, Wen Yu couldn't use this ability.

The Little Soul Beast's two abilities were extremely useful; he couldn't afford to remove either one.

Wen Yu turned his head and only then sized up Li Quan'an, who was sweating profusely.

Inside Wen Yu's room, everything was neat and in perfect order. It seemed Li Quan'an had sent someone to clean it every day.

Nodding in satisfaction, Wen Yu was the first to walk in.

Behind him, One-Eye squeezed through the doorway with effort and flopped straight onto the large desk.

As One-Eye grew stronger, its body also grew larger, and its appetite kept skyrocketing. Wen Yu truly didn't know-if a level 10 Mutant Beast appeared, just how much food would be enough to feed it.

Not bothering with these complicated questions, Wen Yu took out the Void Skill Scroll again and examined it carefully.

The level of this Skill was very high. In fact, most Spatial Ability was above A-Rank.

And Wen Yu already had a plan for this Skill.

"I'll use it on the Little Soul Beast. This kind of ability-good for both offense and defense, bizarre and ever-changing-couldn't be more suitable for me."

"Sorry to disturb your rest," a clear voice sounded.

Wen Yu had seen this woman before-she was the woman he had seen in Li Quan'an's room.

"Mhm. Just put it on the table."

Wen Yu nodded indifferently, gave her a brief glance, and then paid no more attention. With a major battle imminent, Wen Yu had no extra energy to spend on a woman.

She set down the tray, but didn't leave Wen Yu's room right away. Instead, she studied Wen Yu intently.

A tall, thin man, about twenty-five years old, with an ordinary face, yet giving off an indescribable air of mystery.

"Um… my name is Bai Feifei. I'm Bai Xiao'an's older sister."
