Chapter 22 – The Deal
Volume 2: Battlefield Between Two Worlds
"Mm, I know. You two look a bit alike. Is there something you want to tell me?"
Wen Yu kept his eyes closed; it made Wen Yu feel like he was resting. As for beauties, Wen Yu could only say this: once he was safe, he could have as many as he wanted-why waste time here?
"It's nothing." Bai Feifei hesitated.
"If it's nothing, then hurry up and get out. And don't forget to close the door behind you."
Wen Yu's expression grew more and more impatient.
Bai Feifei's body twitched lightly twice. As Li Quan'an's woman in bed, she naturally knew quite a bit of information-among it, Wen Yu's personality and temper.
But thinking of what she had heard from Li Quan'an, Bai Feifei's expression slowly became resolute.
"I want to talk with Wen Yu-Ge about something." After saying that, Bai Feifei walked straight to the doorway and locked the door tightly.
"Oh?" Wen Yu sat up at once. "Could it be…?"
Wen Yu had already thought of a possibility-something that often happened between the strong and beautiful women in the Apocalypse.
As Bai Feifei closed the door and turned to face Wen Yu, she unfastened her dress.
On her beautiful body, only a set of white, sexy lingerie remained.
Seeing Wen Yu staring straight at her proud breasts, a flicker of struggle flashed in Bai Feifei's eyes, only to be replaced by resolve.
"I wonder, Wen Yu-Ge… are you interested in my body?"
Bai Feifei tried hard to put on a coquettish, cutesy voice. And it had to be said: a good figure, a beautiful face, a tempting voice, plus the scenery half-hidden beneath that sexy lingerie.
Wen Yu got hard without the slightest shame.
"Alright. Your body really is nice. To be honest, if I, Wen Yu, didn't still have a few bottom lines and principles, you wouldn't be walking out of this room in one piece today. If you've got something to say, say it."
Wen Yu lay back on the sofa and closed his eyes.
Beauty moved the heart, but there was also a saying: beauty is a Steel Blade that scrapes the bones!
When Bai Feifei saw Wen Yu lying back on the bed, a huge tent rising beneath his crotch, a faint smile appeared in her eyes.
She walked straight to Wen Yu's side and gently stroked Wen Yu's body. Bai Feifei slowly said, "Wen Yu-Ge, if you're satisfied with me, then why don't I… follow you from now on and serve you at your side?"
"Heh." Wen Yu opened his eyes, grabbed Bai Feifei's soft, boneless little hand, and said coldly, "I told you to talk business, not to spew this useless crap. I'll say it one last time: if you have something to say, say it. Stop dragging it out, alright? My patience is really limited."
Bai Feifei was startled by Wen Yu's sudden change in expression. Fortunately, Wen Yu held back and didn't use force; Bai Feifei's hand only felt a bit of pain.
"Wen Yu-Ge, don't be like this. You scared Feifei."
"Hah."
Wen Yu sighed.
First seduction, then when things didn't go her way, she put on a pitiful expression.
Women these days-this move, they really play it well.
"Get lost, before I feed you to the dogs." Wen Yu flung Bai Feifei's hand away.
This time, genuine killing intent rose in Wen Yu's heart.
Wen Yu didn't mind scheming bitches, but if she tried to play tricks on him, then don't blame Wen Yu for turning hostile. Most importantly, Wen Yu had the strength to do it.
One-Eye let out a low growl in cooperation.
At that, Bai Feifei's face instantly turned pale. She no longer dared to use those boring tactics and took several steps back, saying through a sob, "I want to make a deal with Wen Yu-Ge."
Wen Yu opened his eyes and slowly sized Bai Feifei up-then promptly shut them again.
As a normal man, in a situation like this it was hard not to have thoughts. And once those thoughts arose, they would affect his judgment.
In the Apocalypse, Wen Yu had absolute faith in his own judgment. If anything went wrong, the outcome would be irreversible.
So: out of sight, out of mind.
"What kind of deal?"
Hearing Wen Yu's response, Bai Feifei steadied herself, calmed down, and said coolly, "I heard from Li Quan'an what's going to happen tomorrow. Li Quan'an promised he would keep me safe, but my younger brother, Bai Xiao'an, won't be able to make it out of Hualin Town at all. I want to ask you, Wen Yu-Ge, to step in and protect my brother. The price is… me."
"No. That won't do. Leave."
With that, Wen Yu ignored the despair creeping onto Bai Feifei's face and closed his eyes again.
"Wen Yu-Ge, please-please, I'm begging you. As long as you can save my brother's life, you can have me do anything!!"
Hearing Wen Yu's refusal, Bai Feifei burst into tears. She dropped to her knees and clutched at Wen Yu's leg, pleading nonstop.
"One-Eye, see her out."
Wen Yu clenched his teeth and spoke directly to One-Eye.
One-Eye straightened up and walked toward Bai Feifei step by step.
Bai Feifei was so frightened by One-Eye's aura that she didn't dare move again-until a slick tongue licked across her back.
"Ah!"
Bai Feifei let out a piercing scream, so loud that even Wen Yu found it grating.
One-Eye had scared her witless.
When Wen Yu saw Bai Feifei grab up her skirt from the floor and bolt out the door, he let out a heavy breath.
"Woof woof woof." "Boss, a woman delivered right to your door and you still don't want her? Say, I've never seen how you humans mate!"
One-Eye's words made Wen Yu laugh. "If I really did mate, the first thing I'd do would be to kick you out of the room. By the way, I still don't know if you, Dead Dog, are male or female."
"Woof woof woof woof." One-Eye stood up-and his huge dog head slammed straight into the ceiling.
With a bang, Wen Yu could even see cracks spidering across the ceiling where One-Eye had hit it.
Seeing his little 'proof' fail, One-Eye simply flopped down on the floor, spread his hind legs, and revealed the conspicuous equipment between them.
"Dog-Ge's a real man-one of those that lies on top of female dogs."
Watching One-Eye shamelessly show off his sex, Wen Yu rolled his eyes hard.
"Woof woof woof." "Boss, no regrets? Back when Dog-Ge was the boss, all the bitches around me got a turn. Thinking back, that feeling…"
Wen Yu kicked One-Eye right in his big mouth, finally shutting him up.
It would be a lie to say he had no regrets, but Wen Yu wasn't the kind of person who took what he wanted and then refused to pay. A promise made had to be kept.
And protecting Bai Xiao'an tomorrow-that promise was too big, and far too dangerous for Wen Yu. He had no absolute confidence he could break out of Hualin Town tomorrow, let alone with a burden in tow.
That woman was not someone he could take tonight.
With a sigh at the ill timing, Wen Yu pushed the encounter to the back of his mind and went straight to rest. Outside, the sky was growing darker and darker.
