"Thank you!"

Sun Ruixing grinned after hearing the Knight's words.

This was a person just like himself-someone with persistence and conviction.

This was a true Knight!

Sun Ruixing tilted his head back and downed the Intermediate Healing Potion. His wounds began to heal at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Then, he reached out with his right hand.

"I'm Sun Ruixing. Chinese."

The Knight gave a brilliant smile, revealing a row of straight, white teeth. His right hand, clad in an iron gauntlet, firmly grasped Sun Ruixing's outstretched hand.

"I'm William. British. Sequence 18."

At Pandora's Box, the standoff continued!

As the blood-red countdown timer above the Treasure Box ticked lower and lower, some people began to harbor their own schemes.

"Hey, you, the guy standing in the tree back there. How about we team up and take down that guy with the Big Dog? We can split the treasures inside the box, what do you say?"

The first to speak was one of the Military Uniform Man's teammates.

He was a man with sharp, monkey-like features and a frame as thin as a hemp stalk. His wretched appearance immediately dragged down the prestige of the military uniform he wore by several notches.

Though he looked weak, his eyes were full of sharp intelligence, proving that this fellow was definitely not someone to be trifled with.

Chu Ziling swept a disdainful glance over the three men in military uniforms and spoke in a haughty voice.

"What kind of nobodies are you? You think you're worthy of collaborating with me?"

Although he had just been slightly humbled by Wen Yu, his arrogant nature and confidence in his own strength weren't things that would change overnight.

Sequence 29 was just about to lose his temper when the burly man behind him pulled him back.

"Monkey" gave Sequence 29 a meaningful look, then turned back to Chu Ziling.

"The three of us are Super Soldiers belonging to the Military. This man is our Captain for this mission; he is ranked third among the Military's Super Soldiers and is also Sequence 29. Friend, believe me when I say that the three of us combined are definitely not weaker than you."

Monkey's words not only revealed their status and strength but also served as a veiled threat toward Chu Ziling.

Hearing Monkey's introduction, Chu Ziling was actually slightly surprised.

Even with Chu Ziling's pride, he wouldn't treat Sequence 29 as a non-entity.

Anyone capable of becoming a Sequence would definitely not be lacking in strength!

Furthermore, Sequence 29 had two teammates with him. If their strengths weren't too far apart, the combat power of these three would indeed be somewhat greater than his own.

Pride did not equal stupidity.

After a brief calculation, Chu Ziling nodded directly at Monkey.

"Fine. A temporary cooperation. Once we've driven that Wen Yu away, we'll discuss who gets the Treasure Box."

Hearing that a simple alliance had been formed, Wen Yu actually let out a scoff.

"Alright, now that your so-called alliance is formed, come at me. But which of you is going first?"

As soon as he said this, the four members of the alliance fell silent.

"You guys go first. I see that big guy of yours is sturdy and strong; he should be a tank. The tank goes first," Chu Ziling immediately said to the three military men.

This was pure mockery.

There was no logic that dictated a big guy must be a Warrior, a small guy must be an assassin, or someone dressed mysteriously must be a Mage. Did they really think this was a video game?

Hearing the words from Wen Yu and Chu Ziling, Monkey remained silent.

From the moment they heard the rules of the Treasure Land, an alliance between the strong was fundamentally impossible.

Monkey's attempt to ally with Chu Ziling was merely because he saw Chu Ziling as someone easier to deceive than Wen Yu.

Unfortunately, this trick had been played out long ago! Even Chu Ziling understood what alliances were really for.

An alliance was nothing more than a deceptive ploy where the allies faced the danger first while you took the benefits for yourself!

"No alliance? Then we wait."

Seeing the silent quartet, Wen Yu spat out a single sentence. He remained in his spot closest to the Pandora's Box, waiting quietly.

The timer on the Pandora's Box had reached the final ten minutes!

Unfortunately, looking at the current situation, no one could make a move for the Pandora's Box. Its next ownership had fallen into a state of uncertainty.

Time passed silently until the countdown hit the final minute!

"Damn it, a bunch of cowards!"

Chu Ziling cursed harshly as he watched the Class Holders below. They were discussing things incessantly but making no move at all.

During their brief clash earlier, he had hit Wen Yu at least seven or eight times, yet Wen Yu had tanked it all. On the other hand, Chu Ziling had been hit only once, and the battle was decided right then and there.

This was why Chu Ziling hadn't dared to act rashly until now!

He could tell there was a gap in combat power. However, once the scene descended into chaos, his speed would have room to shine. As long as it wasn't a head-on confrontation, speed would decide everything in this competitive mode!

Unfortunately, not a single Class Holder below was moving!

"You guys still aren't going in? If you don't move now, this guy is going to open it a second time!" Chu Ziling shouted loudly, only to receive a chorus of contemptuous glares.

If you're so capable, why don't you go? What are you barking for if you aren't moving?

"Motherfucker… if you aren't going to fight, and you aren't going to use Teleportation to leave the Treasure Land, what the hell are you all waiting for?"

At those words, even Wen Yu chuckled.

What were they waiting for? They were all thinking the same thing he was. They were waiting for exactly what he was waiting for!

This was also why Wen Yu had waited until now. As long as there were no idiots, no one would be willing to be the first to stick their neck out. Thus, the Pandora's Box would not escape his control!

Wen Yu didn't say anything else to provoke them. He knew that he was currently the target of everyone's scrutiny. The moment he made a move, he would undoubtedly draw fire from everyone present. He wasn't confident he could withstand such a concentrated assault.

As the time dwindled, someone finally lost control of their greed!

The first sign of movement appeared on a patch of empty ground ten meters away from the Treasure Box.

The sand on the ground dipped slightly downward.

If it weren't for Wen Yu's Physical Attributes exceeding Level 2, he never would have noticed such a tiny anomaly.

Unfortunately, there were no "ifs"!

With a sudden explosive sound, Wen Yu sprinted at full power. He scooped up the Pandora's Box from the ground and swung his Steel Blade fiercely at the spot where the anomaly had occurred.

A spray of blood erupted, and a figure stumbled into view as their concealment broke.

It was a figure wrapped from head to toe in black cloth, dressed exactly like a ninja from a TV drama.

The person stared blankly at Wen Yu with a look of utter disbelief before collapsing to the ground.

That single strike had already slit the ninja's throat!

Wen Yu's action finally jolted the stagnant situation back to life!

For the others, allowing Wen Yu to open the Treasure Box a second time was absolutely unacceptable.

And so, the attacks… came one after another!
