Watching the fog slowly rise within the city, Wen Yu pulled out his Walkie-Talkie and asked, "Do we have a countermeasure?"

"What countermeasure could we possibly have…?" Kuangliu replied in a distinctly flippant tone.

"You haven't sent anyone in to investigate?"

"You volunteering?"

Only then did Wen Yu realize the problem. Anyone strong enough to get inside wouldn't be able to come back out, while anyone too weak couldn't even get close to Demon City.

"We tried sending in drones, but they were shot down long before they got anywhere near it. We can't see a thing from out here. It doesn't matter, though. Demonic Creatures are pouring out of Demon City in huge numbers, so it's time to begin our troop-training operation. Wen Yu, keep a close eye on your side…"

"Especially Xiao Xue. Don't let her die…"

"Wait, Xiao Xue isn't your little girlfriend, is she?"

Kuangliu fell silent for a long moment before spitting out two words.

"Fuck off!"

After joking around with Kuangliu, Xing's flight speed abruptly increased.

Their supposed staging ground was somewhere within the fog!

Kuangliu had even joked that the Military's nuclear weapons would finally have a chance to prove useful.

Wen Yu offered no opinion on the matter. He couldn't think of any explanation himself.

As Xing flew faster and faster, Wen Yu soon spotted a group of Bipedal Lizards crawling swiftly ahead.

"Kill them!"

At Wen Yu's command, Xing plunged downward, smashing into the ground like a meteor before unleashing a blast of Dragon Flame.

On the ground, Xing and One-Eye were busy gorging themselves.

Nearly a hundred Bipedal Lizards were more than enough to fill both their stomachs. There wasn't a single Level 4 Demonic Creature among them, either. Wen Yu only instructed his two Soul Pets to bring him half of the Level 3 Magic Crystals. He left everything else to them.

The remaining Magic Crystals were a little bonus for his two Soul Pets.

At that moment, Wen Yu was examining the corpse of a Level 3 Bipedal Lizard lying on the ground.

Seen up close, he had to admit that the name Bipedal Lizard was remarkably fitting.

Its grayish-white skin was slick and covered in a layer of disgusting mucus. Two thick, stubby legs supported the weight of its entire body.
