“What in the world is that?!” Yuwen Xuan exclaimed, and despite his fear, he couldn’t help but take another look, which made him scream out loud.

Ling Mo glanced over from the corner of his eye and felt a chill run up his spine from his heels.

The old lady zombie had not only been moving at high speed but had somehow managed to accelerate even more.

In the blink of an eye, she had crawled along the ceiling and closed the gap to within five meters of Yuwen Xuan, then suddenly leaped forward.

“Brother-in-law… no, Ling Mo, save me! I’d rather be devoured by a beautiful female zombie than rot in the belly of the old hag!”

Yuwen Xuan’s scream came through the headset, shaking Ling Mo’s eardrums.

Given the close proximity of the two, they didn’t actually need the Communicator to talk.

A guard standing at the front entrance suddenly turned to look inside the hall and asked, “Did you hear something?”

As the guard walked through the lobby and started up the stairs, the one left behind at the door muttered, “It’s probably just the duty staff slacking off, and he’s going up to check… If he catches them red-handed, it’s embarrassing for both sides. With that, he glanced outside. The shadows of the trees were dark and eerie, and the cold night wind made a “whooshing” sound as it blew.

The guard’s eyes widened, then he collapsed limply.

“Are you out of your mind? That old lady is incredibly strong… Be careful you don’t lose your life over this!” Yuwen Xuan, who was rarely serious, understood all too well the formidable strength of the old lady zombie.

He glanced briefly and saw a zombie corpse on the autopsy table in the center, with gruesome scenes visible beneath the thin covering film.

The window was situated diagonally opposite the autopsy table.

“Clang!”

An invisible tentacle gently tapped on the window, producing a crisp sound.

“Alright, no issues now, time for you to turn back.”

Ling Mo took another deep breath, his mental power instantly reaching a state of high concentration.
