“Su-Jie, I just heard that Ling Mo and the others are leaving tomorrow.”

Li Wei followed behind Su Qianrou like a little shadow, speaking up.

Su Qianrou, while walking and checking the materials on the bookshelves, responded without looking back, “What does that have to do with me?”

“But… didn’t you say last time that you wanted to teach him a lesson or something…” Li Wei’s words sounded more like she was probing.

She rattled off this string of actions smoothly without a pause.

Ye Lian opened her mouth, blinked her big eyes, and shook her head honestly, “Not… not that complicated… but close…”

Before she could finish, a figure suddenly appeared behind Xia Na.

This figure looked exactly like the Xia Na in front, but her eyes were red and white, and her expression was completely different.

Su Qianrou was filled with frustration. In Falcon, she was known for being sly as a fox, if not always in everyone’s good graces.

She was used to having others cornered by her, but unexpectedly, she had tripped up twice in a row at Ling Mo’s hands.

Footprints led from the door into the room.

“Could it be that Li Wei discovered something?”

Pistol at the ready, Su Qianrou pushed the door open.

The door swung open with a soft sound.

But… the room was empty.

“What’s going on?”

Su Qianrou glanced around, noticing cluttered cabinets that could easily hide someone.
