Even though Jiang Wentao and his group were "filthy rich," their resources weren't infinite.

"What about food and water?"

"Not much either. After all, who would have thought this gods-forsaken place wouldn't have any Exchange Pillars!" Jiang Wentao said to Wen Yu with a bitter smile.

"Can we last ten days?"

"It'll be hard. But, if a few more people die…"

It wasn't that Jiang Wentao was cold-blooded; given the current circumstances, it was simply impossible to avoid further casualties.

Chu Ziling, standing behind them, overheard their conversation and spoke up hesitantly.

"I still have some food here."

In their current situation, everyone needed to work together, so Chu Ziling naturally wouldn't hoard his supplies.

"Sigh, I see…" Wen Yu nodded with a sigh after hearing their answers.

Only someone who had been a leader would know how heavy this kind of pressure could be.

"Let's rest for now. From now on, we'll travel by night and rest during the day. That should help conserve water."

They could endure hunger and even the lack of Healing Potions, but they absolutely could not survive without water.

After giving the order, Wen Yu turned and walked toward the Princess Consort Fina.

Princess Consort Fina likely knew the truth behind the situation with the Exchange Pillars.

"This planet has been abandoned by the Ruler!"

Princess Consort Fina spoke immediately upon hearing Wen Yu's question.

That was the reason for the widespread disappearance of the Exchange Pillars.

Wen Yu hesitated for a moment, then stared intently into Princess Consort Fina's eyes and asked directly, "So, what exactly is this so-called Ruler?"

Fina shook her head and said nothing.

Wen Yu understood immediately; it was likely a case of his clearance and strength being insufficient.

"Get some rest."

After a brief farewell, Wen Yu stood up and walked to his spot.

He first projected his consciousness into the Second Soul Realm. One-Eye's injuries were healing, but they were so severe that it would likely take an entire day to fully recover.

As for Wen Yu himself, due to the negative effects of the Berserk Potion, his strength was currently reduced to half of its original state.

The team was currently at its weakest point.

He tested One-Eye's Fate Struggle ability again. With the death of the Ancient Demon, the effects of the Demon Blood Seal had been lifted. This was undoubtedly the only good news he had received all day!

With his Fate Struggle ability available, Wen Yu at least had the capital to fight for his life if pushed to the brink.

Closing his eyes, Wen Yu gradually drifted into a light doze.

As the sun slowly set, night shrouded Shimmer Blue Star.

"Brother Wen Yu, Brother Wen Yu. The sun is down and the temperature has dropped. It's time to head out."

It was Sun Ruixing who woke Wen Yu.

"Oh? Ah."

Wen Yu was still a bit groggy. The effects of the Berserk Potion weren't just limited to halving his strength; it also drained a massive amount of a Class Holder's mental energy.

"Let's go."

Wen Yu rubbed his face vigorously to perk himself up. Not far away, the other Class Holders were already packed and ready to move.

Under the cover of night, Shimmer Blue Star possessed not a shred of beauty.

There was nothing but sand and more sand, nothing but earthy yellow and more earthy yellow.

As they traveled throughout the day, they had already noticed something.

Shimmer Blue Star was deathly still, like an old man in his twilight years, drawing closer and closer to death.

Wen Yu didn't know if it was due to a sudden ecological shift or the invasion of the Demon Realm.

Such things weren't important to a group of Class Holders.

While they didn't need to concern themselves with the cause, the environment still had a significant impact on them.

The flat sandy terrain offered no cover whatsoever. Once a Demonic Creature spotted them, they could forget about shaking it off.

Furthermore, there was no sign of water sources or Exchange Pillars, and at times, it was even difficult to tell which direction they were heading.

Fortunately, Princess Consort Fina had clearly come prepared. She frequently reminded the group to adjust their course; otherwise, a ten-day journey would have stretched on indefinitely.

In this deathly silent desert, attacks from Demonic Creatures came in wave after wave.

Wen Yu forcefully tore apart the Demonic Creature in front of him. His halved physical attributes made facing this creature, which had a Physical Attribute of 70 Points, somewhat difficult.

Fortunately, there weren't many Demonic Creatures this time-only three.

By the time Wen Yu finished off his target, William and Chu Ziling had also concluded their battles.

However, the sudden ambush by three Level 3 Demonic Creatures had still resulted in an injury to a lower-ranked Level 2 Class Holder.

Basong's ability allowed him to sense danger in a general direction, but it wasn't omnipotent.

With the three Demonic Creatures buried beneath the sand, Basong had no way of sensing the direction of the enemy.

Wen Yu walked over to the wailing Class Holder and carefully examined the man's injuries.

The wounds were "not that serious." By "not that serious," it meant they weren't fatal.

He had only lost a leg.

"Boss Wen Yu, help me. Please, help me."

The man looked at Wen Yu with eyes full of hope.

Throughout this journey, everyone could see that Wen Yu wasn't a completely selfish or cold-blooded person. If it was within his power, he was willing to offer others some help.

Perhaps a bottle of that Advanced Healing Potion (Modified) capable of Limb Regeneration would be allocated to him?

That was the source of the man's hope.

"I have a potion here. Drink it."

The one who spoke was William.

What William pulled out wasn't a military-modified Healing Potion, but a standard Advanced Healing Potion. While it didn't have the effect of Limb Regeneration, it was more than enough to stop the bleeding from the wound.

However, Wen Yu reached out and blocked William's hand.

"He's beyond saving."

The indifferent words left Wen Yu's mouth, and then…

Greed's Touch slashed directly across the man's throat!

"What are you doing?"

William's roar drew everyone's attention.

"Running low doesn't mean we have none! Isn't it worth trading a damn potion for a human life? Besides, I already gave him the potion. Even if his leg is gone, I could have carried him on my back!"

William's words only fueled Wen Yu's temper.

"If you're carrying him, who's going to fight?"

Wen Yu grabbed William fiercely by the collar and barked at him.

"You don't know shit! Do you have any idea what kind of situation we're in right now?"
